  • Lambhri peak (around 3200 meters) : lambhri peak is very moderate peak to hike. we have to go through many villages like as Bandal, Tlihar, Sharchi and Jamala even till Jamala we can reach by vehicles 3hour trekking there onward. Lambhri peak have great landscape and meadows and from the top of a hill we can have 360 degree view of Himalaya and its habitat villages.
  • Jalori pass (3120)and sarewalsor lake (3100 meters) : Jalori Pass, at an altitude of 3120 meters, is one of the steepest passes to drive in Himachal separating Kullu valley and Shimla Valley. You need to cover almost 2500 meters in less than 25 KMs to reach the top . You can have a meal at Shringi Vatika on the way back. Well this place is covered with snow from December end till March end.

    Sarewalsor  is a high altitude lake at 3,100 metres (10,171 ft) above the sea level. This lake is surrounded by thick forest cover golden oak trees.  One can trek to Sarewalsar Lake through a thickly narrow path and can get an occasional view of the meadows beyond the thick curtain of the forests. The onward trek is smooth and downhill.

  • Chehni Kothi :-                                                                                                                                   Shringa Rishi temple and chehni kothi are famous shrines of Banjar valley. Chehni Kothi  built in Pagoda cum Pahari style is having four roofs and elaborate woodwork. Magnificent architectural wonder of Banjar valley, Chehni Kothi is 1500 years old building. Initially it was 15 storey high but after an earthquake of 1905 only 10 storeys were left. Presently this structure stands around 20 feet high. This is also the highest tower of the Himachal Pradesh,(India).
  • Other Attractions:  There are two gorgeous waterfall around the Home Stay Tirth Aalok – raccheda nal and Gahidhar cchoo both lies in Ecozone of GHNP. These Waterfall  are admired by the many who had seen it.

    Mata Gada Durga Temples  in Bandal and Goshaini are constructed in Kathkoni style displaying the finest example of wood carving on it. Mata Gada durga is the main godess of  tithan valley.

    Tirthan valley is the abode of various ancient Rishies like as Jamdagni Rishi, Shringa rishi, lomesh Rishi etc . And also a series of Naag Devtas (god) i.e. Balu Nag, Shesh Nad ,Bimu Nag, Kaali Nag etc. These are god of different villages of Tirthan Valley, Great architectured  temples are Shrines to visit and explore .

      How to Reach;

    Airway:  Tirth Aalok home Stay is 55 km from nearest Air Port Bhunter(kullu). Kullu is connected by Indian Airlines, Daccon and Jagson Flights with Delhi and Shimla.

    Road; Home stay is situated in Talihar Village 70 km from Distt. headquarters kullu. But we have turn right from before entering 3km tunnel of Aut towards Banjar-24km from Aut to Banjar,10 km From Banjar to Goshaini, 5 km from Goshaini to Destination-Tirth Aalok.

    There are direct buses to  kkullu, All these buses continue to manali,42 km from kullu further north. Deluxe , Semi deluxe, and air condition buses run during the tourist season.

    Note: We have to deboard at Aut from Bus right before tunnel.
